Health Information Systems (UK) Ltd (HISL) was formed in 2004 as a spin-out from the world famous teaching hospitals of Guys' & St. Thomas' in London, Health Information Systems develops, markets and implements the VECTOR family of clinical information systems (CIS). The VECTOR family currently covers Diabetes (DMS & Retinal Screening), Ophthalmology, Lipids, Sickle Cell, Urology, Hypertension and Cardiac Rehab, and is inherently capable of being implemented in most disease areas. Recent orders bring out user base to 35 hospitals in the UK, with significant interest from the Caribbean, Middle East & Australasia. Written in the Uniface 4GL from Compuware, VECTOR is a platform-independent product capable of being installed in a variety of different infrastructures, thus protecting past & future investment.
