Local Government IT Excellence Awards 2008

The prestigious Local Government IT Excellence Awards are now in their thirteenth year. The awards, which are organised by Intellect, SOCITM and SOLACE, and sponsored by Datapoint, highlight how the use of an IT system or process has improved the provision of services within local communities. This year’s awards will be separated into 3 categories:

• service transformation
• shared services
• mobile and flexible working

This is an excellent opportunity for those entrants who want to make a clear and measureable difference to the efficiency and delivery of e-government services with their community.

The deadline for entries is Tuesday 19 August 2008 and the shortlist will be selected in September 2008.
