You will learn the value of non-verbal communication including body language and gesture. Commonly asked questions such as, 'what do I do when I lose my train of thought?' or 'what do I do with my hands?' will be addressed.

Lessons learned from NPfIT Date: 11 June 2008 Cost: £295+VAT
Whether you love it or hate it, the NHS National Programme for IT (NPfIT) has had a more profound and long lasting impact on the European Healthcare IT market than many people realise. But its most positive contributions are likely to come in surprising areas - many of them largely unexpected.
Current UK media comment is dominated by news of delays and predictions of impending disaster. On the other hand, some outstanding success stories for NPfIT have gone unnoticed.
This workshop aims to look at the original plans, current performance and future prognosis for NPfIT in order to assess the situation honestly and objectively.

A helicopter view of the IT and technology business Date: 16 June 2008 Cost: £395+VAT
This workshop provides a 'helicopter view' of the IT and technology marketplace, providing an introduction to its structure, how it developed, and the 'commercial character' of the companies operating within it.
The course looks at how companies plan, market, sell and deliver, using ProcessMAPPER, a powerful model that looks in detail at the key processes performed by an IT and technology company.
The workshop provides the delegate with a broader perspective of the IT and technology market place and how the various functions of the companies should interact to bring value to customers better than competitors. We promise that the world you work in will never look the same again!
