| |
At the fifth of our lunchtime seminars based around the theme: Articulate, Think, Eat (ATE), Clare Hierons, Head of Low Carbon Collaboration, Carbon Trust will discuss 'Is it all hot air? Does the role of technology in enabling other sectors to improve their sustainability mitigate the sector's carbon footprint?'
Clare will begin by introducing the Carbon Trust and its broader undertakings. She will share the five business drivers for reform, examine consumer behaviour and supplier reforms and give delegates an update on the Carbon Trust's work with the technology sector to date.
The session will be interactive, in which we encourage debate and questions to help Clare better understand differing perspectives.

Intellect member BT celebrates partnership with ParalympicsGB |
|
BT has selected a range of easy-to-use products that, when purchased, will result in a donation to the ParalympicsGB campaign. This will help to invest in the future of disability sport in the UK, both in the run up to London 2012 and beyond. BT helped create the campaign film, which can be viewed at www.bt.com/paralympicsGB
Phil Lane from ParalympicsGB said, "Our athletes are amazing people but the team needs a lot of support in order to compete. We would like to thank BT for this initiative, it's another example of the many ways that BT is supporting the British Paralympic Team and we are delighted that they are behind us in this way."
