Opportunity to profit and form partnerships with Indian SMEs
Partnering day at Intellect on October 15 2008

Intellect and the South East Media Network led a successful mission to NASSCOM (the Indian equivalent of Intellect) in January 2008. The purpose of the mission was to form partnerships between Indian and UK IT SMEs. NASSCOM plan a return mission to UK from 15-17 October 2008. 'Five years on: delivering the diabetes National Service Framework'

Intellect welcomes the Department of Health's (DH) report on the National Service Framework for diabetes. In meeting the challenges laid out by the report, it is important to take into account how telehealth (essentially remote patient monitoring) can help support both patients and clinicians.

With the growing problems of an ageing population and a finite amount of resources, telehealth solutions are a vital tool in providing care for diabetes. By performing simple tasks at home, eg measuring their own blood sugar levels, blood pressure or heart rate, patients can take charge of their own care. The information generated is then automatically transmitted to clinicians, which reduces the need for patients to come into health centres or for nurses to pay home visits.

Congratulations Solution Group!

Solution Group's excellence recognised

Intellect's Marketing Communications Team would like to say congratulations to our design agency, The Solution Group, for their nominations in the national design awards 'The Roses' and 'The Fresh Awards'.

Unfortunately, we started working with The Solution Group after this year's deadlines had passed meaning the fantastic designs they have produced for us so far were ineligible. But we're hoping that they continue the great work and that Intellect will be well represented at next year's awards. Well done guys!
