|
|

Intellect recently welcomed the House of Commons Defence Committee's report on "The Defence contribution to UK national security and resilience", and the Committee's endorsement of Intellect's call for a better dialogue with industry.
Joel Grundy, Intellect's Head of Defence & Security, commented, "Technology companies are at the heart of efforts to equip the UK with the information, communications and innovations to protect itself, and it's right that the Committee has highlighted the need for a better strategic link between Government and industry activity." |

Intellect is pleased to announce a series of regional roundtables that will be held in conjunction with the Bank of England's regional agents |

Each roundtable will feature a regional perspective of the current economic situation.
Particular areas of interest include: growth of demand; international demand; investment; employment; pay; prices and the credit crunch. Prior to the meeting you will be asked for your comments on these areas of interest - all contributions will be treated in confidence. The information obtained from these meetings forms the basis of regular reports to the Bank's economists and to the Monetary Policy Committee.
