Marc Fresko was EDM & ERM Consulting Services Director at Cornwell Management Consultants plc, an independent management consultancy. He has been a management consultant since 1979, and has specialised solely in EDRM (Electronic Document and Records Management) since 1992.
Known as an authority on EDRM, Marc was architect and project leader of the influential European Commission "MoReq" (Model Requirements for Electronic Records Management Systems) project, which developed a generic specification for ERM systems that is now a de facto standard across Europe; he has also contributed to the development of the PRO (now National Archives) "Functional Requirements for ERMS" specifications 2002. He has been active in standards development committees for BSI and ISO.
Marc is an acknowledged "thought leader" in EDRM. AIIM International (a large trade body based in the USA) recognised this by presenting him with a "Distinguished Service Award" in 2006. Marc is frequently invited to speak at industry events in the UK and overseas, and is widely published. He represents Cornwell Management Consultants plc on the DLM Forum (a body established by the European Commission to support work on the entire lifecycle of electronic documents and records).
