Vice chair: Martin Rice, CEO Erudine

Martin is currently CEO of Harrogate-based software company Erudine, where he has overseen the rapid growth of the business and successfully marketed its flagship product, the Erudine Behaviour Engine.

With a background in Strategic Marketing and Product Design, Martin is well recognised as an expert in business development and a gifted entrepreneur. He is a former visiting lecturer at the highly respected Durham University Business School, has built up a successful marketing company, and acted as a business mentor to a range of SMEs that have all entered successful growth phases.

He is a firm believer in personal development for his staff, and holds the view that people are not driven by money or position, but rather a desire to be recognised. Martin also values results and says they should always be rewarded, while mistakes should be understood and learned from.
