Intellect Annual Dinner 2006

Intellect's 2006 Annual Dinner was held at The Savoy on Wednesday 24 May and was over-subscribed with 420 guests attending. The event was sponsored by EDS.

Intellect's director general, John Higgins CBE and John Woodget, president of Intellect, gave a brief overview of the year. The keynote speaker, The Rt Hon. William Hague MP, used his natural Yorkshire wit to take the rise out of senior politicians (of all parties) - and told of the dangers and effects that drink, politicians and temptation have when all three come together!

Tables this year were hosted by companies such as: Atkins Management Consultants; Barclays; Cable & Wireless; Channel Dynamics; Dell Corporation; Deloitte; EDS; EMC; IBM; Intel; InterSystems; Motorola; Northgate Information Solutions; PricewaterhouseCoopers; Scisys; SEMTA; Smiths Group.

The 2007 Annual Dinner is sponsored by Barclays and will take place again at The Savoy Hotel on 24 May. Our guest speaker will be Andrew Marr, TV Broadcaster and presenter of Sunday AM on BBC One, the agenda-setting interview programme.
