Eddy is a Director of Mentis Management Consultants Ltd and has over 25 years experience delivering consultancy advice, guidance and practical support to management teams.  Prior to joining Mentis he was a partner in PwC.  He has lead responsibility for Mentis’ Healthcare practice, but his work extends across central and local government, police forces, the NHS, and commercial organisations.  He has been an active member of Intellect Healthcare and Government Groups for over 10 years.

His key skill areas are the development of integrated business strategies making cost effective use of current and emerging technologies, support for the investment analysis, and consequent process redesign and implementation.

He has extensive experience in the NHS where he has run projects for all levels of the service – DH, Health Authorities, Acute and Primary and Community Care.  This has included comprehensive procurement support involving strategic positioning, requirements specifications, business case preparation, procurement management, proposition evaluation and implementation support.  His assignments have included extensive working with clinicians.

He has particular experience of multi agency working involving NHS, Police, Probation, and Education services encouraging sensible joined-up thinking prior to developing better processes and systems based on improved communication and working arrangements.

Recently his assignments have focused on current and prospective Foundation Trusts, helping them establish a more business-oriented approach to service delivery and development.  This has included development of Trust-level assessment tools to establish the value of centrally delivered ICT systems to the business overall.

He is a qualified Prince 2 Practitioner and holds memberships of the Institute of Management Consultants and the British Computer Society.  He is a former vice Chair of the Intellect eGovernment Group.
