About the group

The Intellect Postal Services Group represents the interest of our members who operate in the postal market. The environment within and without the postal sector is one of increasing change. New postal players, new products and new services have created pressure on Royal Mail, at the same time as customer behaviour and expectations are creating new challenges.

Intellect's members are key players in this industry. From sorting to franking and address interpretation, technology companies are at the heart of the issues facing the postal market today. The changes facing the market will drive strategy for these companies, and in many cases they will play key roles in defining the challenges that the market will face.

Current Activities

Following the scoping meeting, the group has decided to focus its efforts on stakeholder engagement and regulatory developments. The Group is running a series of speaker-led meetings with the postal services' stakeholders, with a view to ameliorating communication between all parts of the sector.
