Originally a spin-off from Kings College London, Health Information Systems develops, markets and implements the VECTOR family of clinical information systems (CIS). The VECTOR family currently covers Diabetes (DMS & Retinal Screening), Ophthalmology, Lipids, Sickle Cell, Urology and Hypertension, and is inherently capable of being implemented in most disease areas. Recent orders bring out user base to 20 hospitals in the UK, with significant interest from the Carribean, Middle East & Australasia. Written in the Uniface 4GL from Compuware, VECTOR is a platform-independent product capable of being installed in a variety of different infrastructures, thus protecting past & future investment.
