About us

A brief history

Intellect was formed in May 2002 following the merger between the Computing Services and Software Association (CSSA) and the Federation of the Electronics Industry (FEI).

Intellect was created to give a single powerful voice for the information technology, telecommunications and electronics industries in the UK. Intellect incorporates the members of CSSA and FEI.

The new association started life with many of the largest, most successful as well as many smaller, highly innovative hi-tech organisations.

Intellect’s members range from blue chip multi-nationals through to early stage technology enterprises.
