Chair Hugh Carr Archer Aurora Computer Services
Hugh is a History graduate whose first career, until 1989, was in education. He was a teacher and an education officer. In 1989 he became Executive Chairman of Sims Ltd, which grew to become the leading supplier of software to UK schools for administration and management.
In 1999 he took on the CEO role at Aurora CS Ltd. Aurora are the leading provider of face recognition software in the UK with hundreds of installations across the public and private sectors. Hugh has overseen the growth and expansion of the company. He was elected the first Chairman of the Intellect Association for Biometrics, by his industry colleagues, in 2007.
