Focus: a cross-domain area, where technology enables UK Defence and coalition partners to utilise and integrate personnel, equipment and information assets. Working at policy and pre-competitive levels, the Council influences both government and industry’s behaviour through workshops, forums and informative meetings, as well as through policy consultations, the production of original papers and thought leadership work.

Key issues/objectives:

• combat identification (including situational awareness)
• through life capability management
• incrementalism and modularity
• commercial-off-the-shelf procurement
• international comparators and models
