Description of DIQF
DIQF is the MoD policy advisory committee for Quality Matters. It holds quarterly meetings at Abbey Wood and is currently involved in recommending International standards to rationalise and replace MoD’s own Defence Standards. It is also involved with NATO standards such as AQAP 2000 relating to ISO 9001:2000 interpretation and implementation and AQAP 160 for software. I currently chaired the Software Standards working group dealing with software and process standards recommendation and rationalisation for use with MoD’s Integrated Project Teams working with Industry.
