Objectives

The Product Approvals Group provides a forum for discussion of all aspects of the regulatory environment applicable to CE Products.

Subjects discussed include new draft standards, test methods and developments within existing standards and regulation.  The group is made up of approvals managers and staff.

Issues discussed include:

• product safety
• EMC
• EMF
• testing methodology

The Consumer Electronics Product Approvals Group meets four times per year.
