List of UK Public Sector Framework Agreements in relation to the ICT Sector

Intellect has produced a list of UK ICT Public Sector Framework Agreements in order to highlight to members the existence of a number of different channels to this market. The list is very much a working document and will be updated on a regular basis as we receive further information from members. Consequently, we request that members contact us if they are aware of any UK public sector ICT framework agreement that is not covered on the list or have further information on any of the framework agreements already on the list.

What is a framework agreement?

The EU Public Procurement Directive defines a framework agreement as: "an agreement between one or more contracting authorities and one or more economic operators, the purpose of which is to establish the terms governing contracts to be awarded during a given period, in particular with regard to price and, where appropriate, the quantity envisaged."
http://europa.eu.int

Please note that for the purposes of this list, we have defined a framework agreement as below:

  • multi-supplier
  • multiple requirements
  • valid for more than 1-year
  • competed for
  • pre-agreed terms and conditions
  • contractually binding
  • not single company call-off contract
  • Intellect industries only, (i.e. ICT)
