Steven joined Olswang in July 2002 as a partner in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team, having been a partner for six years in a city firm specialising in international commercial dispute resolution. Steven’s principal area of expertise is acting in and advising upon commercial disputes affecting clients in the technology and communications industries. These included disputes arising out of software design, implementation and integration contracts, equipment procurement, software licensing and breaches of covenants and warranties. Increasingly, he advises upon contract and legal risk management and dispute avoidance. Steven also has substantial experience of international commercial arbitration (under ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL rules, as well as ad hoc) and jurisdictional disputes.
