Gareth Edwards is a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s R&D Tax services group, advising companies on the eligibility of their activities for the UK R&D Tax Credit. He has over twenty five years experience of real-time and embedded software and microelectronic development, over a wide range of industries. Gareth has been an SME entrepreneur and also held senior executive positions in several large multinationals. He has been responsible for a number of acclaimed innovations, most recently in the wireless and converged technologies. His last major role was as Head of European Research and Development for a major telecommunications manufacturer. Gareth has an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, and is a Member of the Institute of Directors.
