Dr Anthony (Tony) Rollo BA PhD MBCS has over 20 years experience working and teaching in the field of software engineering. He is a Certified Function Point Specialist in both IFPUG Release 4.1 and Mk II Function Point Analysis, and has been involved in the development of the COSMIC method for sizing real-time and business software systems. Tony has a strong background in structured programming, analysis and design both from the practical and academic viewpoints. Approaching software process improvement via an interest in cost modelling, Tony has practical experience of data collection for benchmarking organisational and project performance. He is an excellent and amusing presenter and has frequently presented papers and tutorials for the International Function Point User Group, the UK Software Metrics Association, the Software Measurement European Forum, the European Software Engineering Process Group (ESEPG) Conference and other industry conferences. He contributes to international standards bodies and is a committee member of the UK Software Metrics Association.
