Ian Jenkins MA MIOD is Head of Business Resilience with First Ondemand, and has been delivering high-level security policy and risk management strategies for both governments and industry for over 8 years. Including a first career in HM Armed Forces, Ian has held posts as the UK’s military strategic planner for the Balkans, as Security Policy Adviser, HM Customs & Excise Law Enforcement (Intelligence) and as Head of Security for London Heathrow Airport, BAA. Ian has also acquired substantial experience in designing and managing strategic change programmes and has completed secondments to foreign governments. Latterly, he has been advising on the production of business protection and resilience strategies based on data-driven systems fed by intelligence that place security as an enabling function at the heart of core business. Ian is also in regular demand as a presenter on the topic of security and resilience to both commercial and academic audiences.
