Mark is a senior associate in Lovells’ Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group in London. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mark read physics at university and worked for IBM writing and developing software for use in a number of fields. Mark specialises in contentious and non-contentious work in the fields of IT, outsourcing, electronic commerce and intellectual property. He regularly advises clients in a range of areas in relation to new and complex technologies. Mark edits the Technology Section of “Computer & Telecommunications Law Review” (Sweet & Maxwell), and wrote the chapters on Security and Electronic Signatures for "E-Finance: Law & Regulation” (Butterworths 2004).
