Ed is a Partner leading the Technology, Media and Telecommunications team within Deloitte consulting.  
 
Ed specialises in the provision of strategic, operational and technology enabled solutions to many sectors of the media industry, ranging from TV broadcasters and US majors, traditional book, newspaper and magazine publishers, to new entrants such as 3G mobile operators and interactive service providers.  
 
He has worked extensively with: Broadcast and film clients, such as BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and BSkyB, Vivendi Universal, Time Warner, Sony and Bertelsmann, and Publishing clients, such as United Business Media, Guardian Media Group, Reuters, Reed Elsevier, Haymarket, EMAP and IPC.  
 
Ed joined Deloitte in 2002 having previously worked as a Partner with Andersen in their Business Consulting division. Ed previously worked at Braxton Associates, the strategy consulting arm of Deloitte.  
 
In addition to his extensive consulting experience, he has also had practical experience of the publishing market, working as a Sales Manager for an independent book publisher, Constable Publishers, and as an advertising sales executive for Centaur Publications.  
 
Ed has presented papers at a number of conferences including the FT New Media conference (2002), the Periodical Publishers Association conference (2004), the Institute of Economic Affairs TV conference (2002/2003) and the EMAP Production conference (2003).
