Objectives

Objectives

The Energy Efficiency Group discuss all aspects of energy efficiency in CE products. The discussions include promotion of the most efficient devices and the application where appropriate of product subsidies for energy smart designs.

The group's focus over the next 3 years will be on:

• factory gate subsidies for producers
• the avoidance of inappropriate legislation
• the coordination across Europe of industry initiatives or commitments

The Energy Efficiency Group meets four to six times per year.
