Consumer Electronics Energy Efficiency Group

At a glance: this group is attended mainly by environmental managers, product managers and engineers. The focus of discussion is on identifying energy saving measures and the potential impact of EU regulation. The group also discusses the development of product subsidies that encourage the development and sales of improved energy efficient products. Meetings are held four times a year.

Focus: the discussion of energy efficiency in CE products, including the promotion of the most efficient devices and the application of product subsidies for energy smart designs.
