Ian is a business development professional who has a wealth of experience running leading edge technology companies. With a background in technology, publishing, sales, marketing and implementation he is well versed in aiding organisations examine their current sales and marketing programmes and ensures their processes utilise the latest sales channels, to improve business efficiency and profitability.

Currently helping Hedra plc develop their ambitions in the UK Public Sector, he is re-enforcing the presence of the Company in the Local Government markets.

Previous lives have included:

Director of Communications – Hummingbird & Valid Information Systems – organisations subsequently taken over by Open Text, the largest independent ECM supplier in the world. Developed sales & partner channels for the Public Sector in the UK and European markets
Managing Director – The Implementation Centre Ltd – A company specialising in developing elegant software solutions for organisations, to improve their online presence.
Business Development Director – Wirestation Ltd – A New Media company concentrating on multimedia, websites and CDRom development.
Managing Director – Virtual Studios Ltd – Virtual Reality production studio and 3D games development company, concentrating on the production of immersive VR experiences and real time 3D games for Sony Playstation and the PC.
Managing Director – IT Publishing Ltd – Contract publishing company serving IT, computing, office equipment and finance sectors.
Publishing Director – AGB Publications – Managed a division of trade and technical publications covering electronics, industrial, office equipment, security and local authority
