Vice Chair Intellect Identity Working Group Paul Briault Lagan
As Sales Manager at Lagan, Paul Briault draws on six years of experience selling to public sector organisations (previously at BEA systems and Entrust) and prior to that, fifteen years within the public sector. He is currently responsible for business development and sales for all business outside of Local Government for Lagan, which includes managing and developing relationships not just within the public sector but also with influencers and leaders in the system integration and vendor community.
Prior to joining the private sector, Paul worked at the Office of e-Envoy within the Cabinet Office as the Assistant Director of UK e-Government Security Policy. He had responsibility for developing central security and authentication policy for use within government departments for their electronic service delivery targets. He also had budget responsibility for CESG’s ‘common good’ funding and was SRO for the UK Biometrics Working Group (UK BWG). Prior to this, Paul held a number of security focused roles within Central Government departments.
