Nick Durrant is recognised as a leading expert in improving the performance of IT software and services companies, specialising in all aspects of operations management, project delivery and support. Nick has presented widely throughout Europe and the United States including events for the British Computer Society, International Trade Centre (sponsored by the United Nations and World Trade Organisation) and Institution of Electrical Engineers. In 1998 Nick co-founded Contact to ContRact who have over thirty leading IT customers including EMC, Panasonic, Hitachi and Xansa. Contact to ContRact helps IT software and services companies transform and improve their businesses. Nick’s experience stems from over 15 years in team leading and project management roles. After reading Physics at Imperial College, Nick first worked in the electricity industry modelling nuclear reactors. He then joined Softwright, a specialist software development company, where he managed the support and then product business as well as driving the company’s ISO9001 and TickIT certification.
