Focus: the viability of the introduction of a data breach notification requirement in the UK and the issues for policy makers to consider. The group will lead Intellect's campaign to raise the profile of data breach as a business issue and the implications it will have on the economy if it continues unchecked. The group is currently writing a position paper on the issue, which will look at how to respond to a breach and how to minimise future risk. There are plans to release further papers on this theme in the future.
