Meeting dates

    Meeting dates to follow shortly
Focus: to steer Digital Europe’s activities and priorities, identify upcoming issues of significance and, where appropriate, route members to Intellect working groups. Intellect staff will provide feedback from their participation in Digital Europe activities. The committee meets approximately four times a year (usually a fortnight before each Digital Europe Board meeting), and will ensure that:
  • Intellect gains maximum value from its membership of the Digital Europe Board
  • Intellect views are fed in to the Digital Europe management process
  • Intellect staff and members are briefed on Digital Europe developments
  • any problems with Digital Europe processes are identified and addressed
The EPC will have a flexible approach to the topics it considers but will not duplicate, nor seek to anticipate, positions on European issues appropriate to other Intellect Committees. It will explore agendas, priorities and issues with other UK and European bodies and institutions, such as:
  • E-Business Regulatory Alliance
  • EURIM
  • CBI
  • UKRep in Brussels
  • DBERR
  • Ofcom
  • The Treasury
