~ intelligent Presence Manager Honoured for Outstanding Innovation ~

North Yorkshire, UK – 24TH April 2007 – TeleWare, the leading provider of intelligent hosted and customer premises communication solutions to businesses and service providers, today announced that intelligent Presence Manager has received a 2007 Product of the Year Award from Technology Marketing Corporation’s (TMC®) Customer Interaction Solutions magazine (www.cismag.com), the leading publication covering CRM, call centers and teleservices since 1982.

Telephony Presence information keeps others informed of your contactability status, enabling them to make an informed decision as to when to call, saving on voicemail costs and ensuring time is not wasted on calls to users who are unavailable.

“intelligent Presence Manager (iPM) empowers the user with enhanced communications capabilities by enabling them to know when one of their regular contacts (‘buddies’) is available to receive a telephone call,” explained Steve Haworth, CEO for TeleWare Group of companies. “The unique element of iPM is its ability to provide status information not only for users on the TeleWare IP Centrex hosted services platform but for users connected on both TDM and IP based PBXs that are using the intelligent Office software applications suite,” added Haworth.

There are two aspects to the information available from TeleWare’s iPM through intelligent Office: Status and Location. Status Presence information is available on users on any IP or Digital PBX when using TeleWare intelligent Office (iO). Through iO, you are registered ‘here and now’, advising the system of your availability for calls, so you have set your status, for instance, to indicate you are unavailable for calls. iPM makes this information visually available to other users through the web. iPM also provides real time presence information about the location of the TeleWare user’s registration, for instance, to a PBX extension, home phone or mobile.
