Tom has been fully engaged with National Health Service and community care for over twenty years and Social Care for the last ten years. He is known as a passionate and sometimes outspoken observer of the various initiatives that have emerged during this time. His key interest is in Health and Social Care in the Community and realising the benefits that can be gained from a joined up holistic care service and the danger for both clients and professional staff alike when crucial information is not available at the point of care.

Tom is very supportive of the joint NHS and Local Government social care initiatives and firmly believes in strong supplier and end user partnerships. As CEO of in4tek he has driven the development of the first ITC system to fully support health and social care in the community which is now being deployed both in the UK and Canada.
