Andy Vernon is one of PA’s experts on the delivery of large-scale information system enabled change. Andy has over 20 years experience in information systems delivery in central Government, as well as in the finance and telecommunications sectors. During that time he has specialised in the scoping and assurance of the end-to-end business solutions for some of the most complex change programmes being undertaken today. His current areas of interest include the sharing of information across Government, and the design of pan-departmental architectures for business and information systems change, together with their supporting business chases. In recent years, Andy has worked extensively on the delivery of the Government social welfare reform agenda, and typically works in the role of an independent delivery partner, working with Government departments and their IT suppliers to deliver change.
