Intellect SME Business Development Forum meeting
Visions for the future of the technology industry 22 May 2008
Three speakers with impressive track records and deep expertise in their area contributed to a practical session ranging widely around the future of the technology industry. Tony Fish from AMF Ventures covered what the board of an SME should be thinking about and explained how to exploit the opportunities created by 2.0 thinking and beyond. Hugh Campbell from GP Bullhound focused on how to obtain funding, while Kate Craig-Wood from Memset presented the environmentally driven opportunities for small IT businesses. Although each speaker had a prepared talk, the session emphasised interaction, so all attendees came away with at least some of their key interests addressed.
