Julian Howison is the founder and Managing Director of Arrk Limited, the management consultancy and offshore outsourcing specialist. Arrk is a north west based company with operations in Manchester and Bombay providing IT services to public and private sector organisations.  
 
Julian has over 25 years experience in the IT sector, beginning his career in the instrumentation sector before moving to software systems development, including one of the world's first internet mailbridge gateways.  
 
During the late 1980’s Julian worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers’ management consultancy division in London. He advised clients on IT/Telecommunications strategy, programme management and software quality management. He conducted major assignments for included NatWest Bank, LloydsTSB and London Stock Exchange. Prior to founding Arrk in 1998, Julian held director level senior management positions within Provident Financial Plc and MBNA, one of the worlds largest credit card companies.  
 
Julian is passionate about customer satisfaction and about ensuring that Arrk continues to be a organisation where creativity, learning and relationships are all highly valued.
