David Butler is CEO of TripleIC Ltd, a company that helps businesses identify and keep their best customers. He is the former chairman of Butler Cox plc, and the originator of the Butler Cox Foundation, the most successful IT research company ever established in Europe. He led the team that presented a seminar on communications media at the White House, Washington DC. He is a regular speaker on the subject of customer engagement. He covers the latest research on the successful establishment and maintenance of customer bases, and practical means for keeping customers, including the Reichheld Net Promoter Score and the Lambert Protocol. Butler gave the BCS Annual Lecture at the House of Lords. He was for many years a resident lecturer at the IBM training centre at La Hulpe. He also lectures on Greek and English literature and is a published novelist.
