The events team consists of:
Tina Compton Events Director
Tina heads up the events team at Intellect, which organises around 70 conferences, dinners, balls and lunches a year. Having worked in the events industry for over 26 years, Tina has successfully established numerous contacts throughout the industry. Her long standing relationships with suppliers, sponsors, Intellect members and major industry players make Tina a key contact to have.
Due to the success of the team’s functions and the continuous accolades received by them for the quality and organisation of their many events, Tina launched the event management service for members. The demand for the team’s expertise and knowledge in organising member events is growing rapidly and now plays a big part in the events calendar.
Tina was the originator of the Annual Charity Ball which she began eight years ago and during that period she and the team have been responsible for raising approx £300,000 for various charities. She was asked to join the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and is also a Lady Taverner.
