Competition for this award is open to members of Oracle’s European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) PartnerNetwork who have successfully developed and proved an innovative solution (using Oracle’s products and technology), that helps to create value and generates new business potential for customers.
First Ondemand was selected for this honour based on the development of our core product Authentisec™ (a secure identity and authentication engine), and for the ground-breaking mobile phone security project carried out with thetrainline.com, the leading independent UK rail retailer.
Built upon Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle 10g Database, Authentisec™ produces high volumes of mass serialised, unique and cryptographically protected ‘intelligent’ identities, that can be used to secure and track any object, both physical and digital (e.g. people, products and transactions). By securing the complex relationships which exist between these objects, Authentisec™ helps to improve business processes by protecting against fraud and counterfeiting crimes.
First Ondemand’s innovative, robust and highly secure application called ‘Authentisec Mobile™’ enables Trainline Smart customers to log on to their online account securely from most mobile phone handsets and see what tickets are on their smartcard. Customers can also manage their account, buy and pay for tickets and renew season tickets using their mobile.
