The European Information Technology Observatory (EITO) offers high quality and up-to-date information on European and global markets of the information technology, telecommunications and consumer electronics industries. The EITO portal (http://uk.eito.com) provides online access to all available data at a glance. In addition, country reports or segment reports allow the viewing and download of selected parts of the data. The EITO is managed by Bitkom Research GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of BITKOM, the German Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media. EITO is sponsored by CeBIT, Deutsche Telekom, KPMG, Simo, Systems and Telecom Italia. The research activities of the EITO Task Force are supported by the European Commission and the OECD.
EITO works with regional partners to distribute its products. These above all are the national trade associations of the information and communication technology industries all over Europe, as well as selected other organisations.
