Joanna Crowe BT
Having graduated in electronic engineering, Joanna has now worked in telecommunications for 30 years. Currently she works in technology licensing in BT, which is successfully transforming itself to meet the challenges of the convergence of IT and communications. Joanna's interest in equal recognition for women in the workplace dates back many years. She has been active in the BT’s Women’s Network since it started 20 years ago this year, and chairs the Suffolk satellite, which is centred on BT’s Research facility at Adastral Park near Ipswich, encouraging networking and self-help on matters such as childcare, especially during the holidays, self-development, networking and options for flexible working.
