Women In Science, Engineering and Design The Women In Science, Engineering and Design (WISED) All Party Parliamentary Group was inaugurated on Wednesday 8th June 2005. Its goals are to promote the role of women in science, engineering and design, to seek to influence the development of public policy to facilitate greater equality and to work with business and the voluntary sector to improve practices and retention and recruitment procedures for women in science, engineering and design-related careers.
