Focus: the group explores a broad range of themes under the information umbrella that affect both the public and private sectors including assuring, securing, protecting, managing, sharing and exploiting information, and the overarching privacy considerations that relate to these themes. Group activities include:

  • a programme of regular briefings from key players in the field
  • lobbying/campaigning on issues identified as priority
  • production of guidance and best practice
