Intellect’s annual Software and IT Services Survey 2009

30 October 2009

Intellect’s annual Software and IT Services Survey 2009 is out.  Complete to help provide an overview of the UK SITS industry and views on policy towards the sector.

This year’s survey is being carried out, on behalf of Intellect, by the Centre for Research in Employment, Skills and Society (CRESS) at Kingston Business School. The aim of the survey is to collect information on the current state of the software/IT services industry and company views on government policy towards the sector.  Your responses will be extremely valuable and we thank you in advance for participating.

Most questions track our previous surveys but a number of new questions on government policy and programmes have been included. Combined these will enable us to continue charting trends in the industry and collect members’ views regarding government support and the operating environment in the sector. The results will subsequently inform Intellect policy development and lobbying activities. An Intellect report on the findings will be available in early 2010.

This year the survey will also form part of a study funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, and carried out by Kingston Business School on the UK software sector.

  • section 2: About your Firm
  • section 3: About you firm’s Business Activities & Development
  • section 4: About your firm’s Employees
  • section 5: About your firm’s Financial Situation
  • section 6: Questions for Software companies
  • section 7: Research & Development
