Intellect launches A Practitioners' Guide to Reliability

Reliability Guide published this month brings together a wealth of information for today's reliability engineer.

Through Intellect, the UK technology association, some of Europe's key industry players have published a Reliability Guide providing everyday guidance in solving problems in Reliability Engineering.

The Guide is the first reference document to pool together such a wide range of practical advice for reliability engineers, including prediction and modelling the reliability of almost any product, in particular, scenario modelling. It also provides failure rates and prediction techniques for many types of modern components and systems, including electrical, hydraulic, electronic and mechanical and shows how this information may be tailored for use in any industry.

The Guide is the product of a five-year work programme conducted by the Reliability Sub-committee within Intellect; chaired by Mr Ron Sexton of MBDA with an Editorial Board including members representing MBDA, BAE SYSTEMS, Smiths Detection and AMS. Relex Software provided final technical editing, publishing and input.
