Important message for all Chief Executives and Business Managers: Warning: You could lose your ISO9000 Registration
If you have spent time and money having your organisation certified against ISO9000, you'll know that that was money well spent. Any company which develops, maintains or uses software or IT will benefit from this Internationally recognised standard - benefit in terms of improved process and quality, but also from the marketing value the certification carries.
What you might not know is that you stand to lose your certification, automatically, if you don't get it updated to ISO9000:2000.
The deadline is the end of 2003. There is still time, but you need to start planning and acting now.

Intellect Quality Group
Intellect's Quality Group represents the member's view to Quality standards bodies in the UK and internationally. The Group has been involved in the creation and update to ISO 9000 and are now bringing their combined knowledge resource to aid Intellect members in the transition.
Our next meeting will offer a workshop approach to the problem, with practical advice and guidance as well as speaker from the key organisations involved. The meeting will be held on Wednesday 19 March 2003.
Quality Guide
In addition, and following six months work, the Group is releasing its online guide to the public. This guide provides an online resource to the Quality Professional and any one seeking to find out more about Quality.
To coincide with this ISO9000:2000 meeting, the Group will be publishing practical advice and guidance to further assist our members.
