Communications Workstream

Tom joined Accenture in July 2006 to lead the company’s UK government relations programme, having spent the previous three years as Communications Director at The Royal Academy of Engineering.

Prior to this, most of his career had been within the nuclear industry where he led the BNFL political liaison programme in London and Brussels. In the late 1990s, Tom was seconded to the Foreign Office for four years as Atomic Energy Counsellor in Tokyo where he was the principal interlocutor with the Japanese government and the electric power companies on nuclear issues.
