Mary Wintershausen's 37 year career includes health, the private sector, 23 years in ICT management with a London Borough and 7 years as an independent consultant specialising in local egovernment, modernisation and transformation.
Her local and central government clients have included the Office of the e-Envoy, Socitm Insight and the IDeA. She is author of four annual ‘Local E-Government Now’ studies and ‘E is for Efficiency: Reaping the benefits of technology’ and publications on transformational government and improving the ICT service.
As Vice-Chair of Socitm's National Information Age Government Group, Mary represented local government in Central/Local forums and has spoken at many national events. She is a regular trainer for Socitm, developing and facilitating public and bespoke training events on current issues.
