Rex Rozario OBE Graphic Plc
Rex, a graduate Electronics Engineer from Brunel University started his career as part of a 6 man team which set up a Printed Circuit Facility for Technograph in 1955.
The consultant for the project was Dr. Paul Eisler the inventor of the Printed Circuit. Telegraph merged with Technograph who owned Dr. Eisler’s patents and formed Technograph & Telegraph, the first Printed Circuit Board manufacturer in the UK.
In 1959 Rex was head hunted to start a new company Tectonic to compete with Technograph and Telegraph. In 1968 Rex moved to Devon and set up his own company Graphic, which is now the leading High Technology Rigid Flex Printed Circuit manufacturer in the UK utilizing the state of the art laser direct imaging and laser drilling.
Rex was awarded an OBE in the Queens New Years Honours list in 2001, for his contribution for Electronics.
Rex was a founder member and past Chair of the Printed Circuit Interconnection Federation, past Chair of the Institute of Printed Circuit Technology, Past Chair of the Heart of Devon Enterprise Agency, board member of South West Manufacturing Advisory Services, board member of the South West Science and Industry Council, Chair of the Crediton Chamber of Commerce, President of the Crediton Rotary Club, Governor of the East Devon College, member of the South West CBI Committee, member of Air League and The Parliamentary Aerospace Group.
