Steven Carroll Managing Director Healthcode Ltd
Steven Carroll is currently managing director of Healthcode Ltd a data services company working in the private health sector.
The business is best known as the private sector clearing house for electronic billing and remittances. We currently validate and clear circa £2.5 billion annually via a secure Internet based application. Additionally we also manage a suite of services for private sector hospitals the major health insurers and many specialists and medical secretaries. We develop in house. We have developed and deployed interfaces mappings and industry standard codes that enable end-to-end processing (hospital to insurer and vice versa).
He has been in this position for a little over five years. Prior to that, he had a spell as an interim MD for 12 months. Steven held a variety of director level positions over a period of five years with Norwich Union Healthcare including 12 months as acting MD.
He has a degree in business economics am a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Director. He is also a member of the IOD and has an extensive contact network in the private sector and is delighted to serve as a council member.
