Andy is an experienced Senior Director who has worked in the Health and Public sector for over 30 years. During this time he has held many leading positions within both the NHS and private health organisations. He has an MA in Strategic Healthcare from the University of Keele and is a Fellow of both the Institute of Analysts & Programmers and the Association of Project Managers. He is also a Member of the Chartered Management Institute.

In his work he has regularly worked at Government level with Secretaries and Ministers of State as well as the Prime Ministers office, and has commonly attended briefing sessions at the House of Commons, The Welsh Office, The Welsh Assembly and the Scottish Executive.

Andy has extensive experience of the provision of medical services in Primary Care and as MD of the Medical Assessment Programme for Nestor health led the largest capability assessment and civil litigation programme awarded by the DTI to test coal miners for work induced pulmonary disease. He has worked in the provision of Primary Care ‘Out of Hours’ services and has managed both the provision as a GP systems supplier and procurement as head of South East Thames RHA GP Computer Centre of Primary Care IT systems.

In recent times Andy has been heavily involved in the provision of LSP solutions to the Southern Cluster and also in the preparatory stages of the Informing Health Care opportunity in Wales.
